Welcome to My Personal Page
This summer I will have the responsibility of representing the St. Mary Catholic/Valley Christian communities as an assistant coach in the 8-Player All-Star game at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh on July 14th.
A part of this experience is working to raise money for Children's Wisconsin, 100% of all funds raised support their mission.
I am very grateful for the chance to represent the Zephyrs in our last 8-Player game as we turn the page and return to 11-Player football in 2023. The players and families put faith in a new coaching staff two seasons ago and we were fortunate enough to have a great deal of success on and off the field. I'm thankful that I get to share this experience with two other even more deserving Zephyrs in Nick Berg and Sam Todd this summer.
This will be my final game coaching high school football as a Zephyr as I have elected to take a year off from coaching all together. I have been in the football world coaching high school and college for the last 8 years and it is all I have ever known in my adult life, I plan to use this time away to explore a few other interests.
I would like to use this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to a few people.
To Josh Young, thank you for letting me work with you as we embarked on the new journey at SMC. For the many hours we spent planning; the logisitcs, the people, the scheme. I hope I have been able to assist you in setting the groundwork for the future of St. Mary Catholic football!
To the assistants and friends we brought along the way (GD, NJ, AR, RL). Thank you for your relentless time and effort as well the connections with the players. You are the ones who put our vision into action and benefit from the relationships established with the players.
To JL, AD and RJ, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your community and team. It is not always easy welcoming in new faces and I can say I never felt anything other then overwhelming support!
To the parents, fans and supporters of SMCS, we are continuously appreciative for your generorousity and time. Supporting a football team of 60 people takes a village and our job as coaches was made easier because of you.
To the certain individuals that I tried my best to consistently thank for their efforts, be it through a hug, handshake or a verbal acknowledgement of gratitude you have benefited my life tremendously. You know who you are.
Finally to all the players over the past 2 seasons, I enjoyed every step working with you. Thank you for your commitment, focus and the faith you put in me to lead. Coaches in sports often times have a responsibility as they have the ability to touch the lives of many in a short span of time. I believe I have benefited and learned even more from you and have memories and relationships I will carry for the rest of my life.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let me reminisce over the past two years. I'd encourage everyone that if you elect not to donate to me, please consider donating to Nick and Sam.
If you do not contribute I'd ask if you could share my post. I want to represent our community at St. Mary Catholic the best way I possibly can.
Stay Blessed!
