Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello! Thank you so much for coming to my WFCA All-Star Game page. This event and the mission it supports mean a lot to me and I am thrilled you took the time to stop by.
Why am I doing this?
The honor of being chosen to play in this game is twofold. I will have the opportunity to play football with some of the best high school players in the state. Second, and most importantly, I get to make a difference in the lives of other kids by raising money for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
I know I am able to raise funds that support the care provided to kids, from life-saving cancer and heart treatments all the way to life-changing community care. At Children's, they say they believe kids deserve the best, and I know they live up to that promise - for all kids.
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has been vital for me being able to even participate at this level. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age 11. Having type 1 is a constant battle of preventing low blood sugars which can be life threatening, especially when playing any sport. My blood sugars tend to go dangerously low in the middle of the night, and with the help of my diabetes team (Endocrinologist Dr. Cabrera, Nurse Practitioner, CDE Elaine Parton and nutritionist) I have been able to compete to the best of my ability and manage my blood sugar. Without them, I would not be where I am today, so I am incredibly grateful to be able to give back, please consider making a donation! (Which IS tax deductible)
