Thanks for visiting our team page. Over the years many wonderful friends and family have made Kayleigh's Crew an absolute success.
In January of 2005 Kayleigh was diagnosed with a large hepatic (liver) tumor along with several other small tumor clusters. Kayleigh began her outpatient treatment through Children's Hospital.
By April 1, 2005 she was re-admitted to the hospital because the tumors continued to grow. The doctors and nurses at Children's rushed to do all that they knew how, with what information and research tools were available to them at the time.
Kayleigh lost her battle to a vascular anomaly-called Infantile Hemangioma. A condition few doctors knew how to diagnose and even fewer at the time knew how to treat. We have taken peace in knowing that our efforts today have helped to save other children like Kayleigh.
Her legacy lives on through our efforts and the many children and families who have been helped over the years.
Kayleigh's Crew has championed the cause of raising funds through generous donations. These donations directly help in funding the research of vascular anomolies like Kayleigh's. Together we have made such an amazing impact.
Please join us in supporting the Kayleigh Ali Vascular Anomolies Research Fund. It is our everlasting committment to help others, to honor Kayleigh's memory and to watch as her legacy continues to motivate so many other good people to do more, to give more and to spread the much needed awarenss.
