Our need was unexpected. You never know if and when someone you love may need medical care that only Children's Hospital can provide. It was comforting to know that a nationally recognized medical facility was so close to home when we needed it the most. It is hard to imagine that it has been 13 years since our lives were forever changed by one word; "Cancer". Kelly is currently 11 1/2 years in remission and is CANCER FREE! Kelly entered High School as a freshman this year and participated several clubs and had a enjoyed attending Homecoming and Snowball. She is currently taking horse riding lessons and is looking forward to showing "Dennis" in the future. Kelly is counting the days until she starts Driver's Ed in September! Kelly is brave a determined and can do anything she believe in.
